 The festivities marking the 50 years of Mr. Edward Cammilleri as a commitee member in conjuction with the launch of the new club project started on Friday 28th October with a Tombola Party organized by the Ladies Circle at the club hall then later in the afternoon a special mass was held at the Mellieha Sanctuary for relatives, club members and friends of Edward. An enjoyable evening followed honouring his achievement with a Dinner at The Solana Hotel with the participation of all different club sections and commitees together with past commitee colleagues  relatives and his friends attending.
On Saturday 29th October, a group of  club members headed to St. Luke`s Hospital for a charitable cause, to donate blood.
The activities reached their climax on Sunday 30th October with the ceremony of the unveiling of commemorative tablet marking the new club project as well as a reception at the club for local associations, contributors and club members.
